HYDROMO OPERATES THE SOLAR INSTALLATION FOR SARMA CYLINDERS.

Sarma Cylinders is a leading manufacturer of LPG cylinders ranging in capacity from 14.2 kg to 17 kg and can also provide reconditioning services for 17 kg LPG cylinders. On March 19, 2018, the business was launched in Kondapalli, which is located within Vijayawada in the state of Andhrapradesh. Since that time, Sarma Cylinders have been the industry leaders when it comes to the production of LPG cylinders. A significant amount of power supply is necessary for the manufacturing process. The business community is opposed to the increased power bills. The monthly power bills have been quite difficult to deal with because they are so expensive. The sarma cylinders have a lot of trouble dealing with the monthly power expenses. The monthly electricity use is 44,000 units, and the bills typically reach to approximately 2,86,000  which is extremely pricey.

Solar power is the sole option for Sarma cylinders to consider in order to reduce their monthly electricity costs. Sarma cylinders contacted out to hydromo in search of innovative solar solutions to reduce their monthly electricity expenditures.

OUR APPROACH

After arriving at the factory, Hydromo conducted an assessment of the solar power. According to the findings of the analysis, the power needed for the sarma cylinders is 300 KW. For the phased installation of a solar power plant, Sarma cylinders have been selected as the container of choice. The 300 kilowatt solar plant comprises three phases, and each phase is rated at 100 kilowatts.

ACCOMPLISHMENTS

Hydromo goes further with the sarma cylinders phase wise proposal. The panel makers are panasonic and inverter is Hitachi-grid tie inverter

Following the completion of the installation, there has been a significant shift in the monthly electricity expenses. Since the solar installation, Sarma Cylinders has reduced their monthly power expenditures by 98,000 rupees and saved up to 14500 to 15200 units of energy.

CHALLENGES

There were other businesses, including Hydromo, that had an interest in obtaining this order. The most difficult aspect of this project was the need that a solar plant with a capacity of 100 kilowatts should be constructed in only twenty days, although the standard in the industry is forty-five days.

Hydromo has put in a lot of effort, and in comparison to the standards of the business, they have finished the project in just 20 days, setting new records for the industry. We had planned the layout of the construction so that it would have sufficient capacity to satisfy upcoming requirements. Each solar panel has been meticulously constructed to ensure its quality. The most challenging aspects were the framework and the panel mounting, and we were successful in delivering the product in both an aesthetically pleasing and functional manner.

After turning on all of the inverters, we were obligated to accomplish their goal of transforming the neighbourhood into a net-zero energy community. The initiative has received numerous accolades in India and serves as a model for other businesses who are in the same industry.

This was not our usual commercial construction project, but it did call for a great deal of attention to detail. The process of installing a solar power system in a manufacturing facility is very arduous

At long last, the mission was successful.
