Overview
Hyundai Mobis is a major Korean automaker company that is based in Gachibowli. Nonetheless, this is a company that deals in high-quality products, and when an advanced German kitchen boiler malfunctioned, it was a very big problem. The fault was not at the level of technical failure but with the quality of water.
The Challenge
Following the inspection, it was said that the kitchen boilers required water having a Total Dissolved Solids (TDS) of 80 ppm to 300 ppm so that they operate efficiently. Unfortunately, the local water supply contained high TDS levels – 600 to 800 ppm. This level of TDS water could not support kitchen boilers, which impacted the meal services of more than 2,000 employees. As the delays accumulated, this problem required an efficient and quick fix.
The Solution by Hydromo
Upon discussing the equipment vendor and having a closer look at the technical requirements, Hydromo designed a custom 750 LPH Reverse Osmosis (RO) system that would suit the needs of the kitchen.
