Solar Panel Installation for Schools
A Campus Load Pattern Built for Solar
Most school campuses rely heavily on grid power throughout the day. Classrooms, labs, fans, water pumps and admin blocks consume electricity during the same hours solar panels generate the most power — which makes solar a natural fit. Yet many institutions are unsure about the right system size, or whether their roof can even support it.
Hydromo has installed solar systems across schools and larger campuses. Rather than offering a standard package, our team assesses electricity usage, roof capacity and site conditions, then designs the system around those specific requirements.

Technology
These are the panels themselves, they turn sunlight into DC electricity. Which panels make sense for your school comes down to how much roof you have, your budget, and how much power you’re hoping to generate.
The inverter’s job is to take the DC electricity coming off the panels and convert it into AC power the campus can actually use, synced with the grid so the school can draw on solar and grid power together without any manual switching.
Panels need to sit securely on whatever roof you’ve got, flat RCC, sheet roofing, or open ground space, so the mounting structure is chosen to hold up against local wind and weather rather than a one-size-fits-all frame.
When your local electricity board allows it, net metering lets any extra solar power your system generates flow back to the grid and get credited against your bill, essentially turning surplus generation into savings.
Once the system’s live, a monitoring dashboard lets your facility team see how much it’s generating day to day, so performance isn’t a mystery.
How Hydromo Installs Solar for Schools
