A challenging installation in a villa and how we dealt with it

At Vision’s Urjith in Tellapur, the residents are passionate about their lifestyles. They customised their luxurious villas with high-end accessories to suit their taste. Any deviation from their idea of execution would leave them highly disappointed. The community also prioritises green surroundings to savour the beauty of nature at leisure.

Mr Murthy is one such resident in the sophisticated community who wanted Hydromo’s Water Treatment Plant to be installed in his luxurious villa to ensure only the best quality water runs through his home.

Site inspection report from our team:

• Villa’s plumbing is feasible for installing a WTP.
• The ground floor has provision for greenery around the house leaving little to no space for setting up the WTP anywhere.
• The option of installing the plant on the roof of the villa was explored and found to be viable.
• The owner does not want WTP on the roof as it is disturbing the contour of the villa. 
• The only option left is a small bathroom on the roof which has an area of 3X4.
• Requires high-end customisation.

The challenge

Fitting a 1000lph Hydromo water treatment plant in a 3X4′ space and also leaving enough space for the plumber to execute his pipe fittings. A WTP of this capacity conventionally takes a space of about 10X4′.

The execution

Our team chalked out a design plan to build a Hydromo WTP in the available space. Now the entire skid occupies a space of 2.4X3 and is easily installed inside the rooftop bathroom of the villa. 

Final observations:

• The WTP is installed without any issues and is up and running. 
• Sufficient space around the skid is also available for future maintenance.
• The aesthetics and overall look of the villa remain undisturbed. 

Highlights of the project

• A high-capacity water treatment plant has been installed in a small space without affecting its effective functioning.
• Heavy customisation made to build a skid holds all the equipment required for a 100lph water treatment plant in a tight space of 2.4X3′. 
• The owner is happy that the project has been executed without disturbing the outline of his villa.
